Warranty Information

We, at Interior Concrete Design, know that the better care you take of your concrete countertops the longer they will stay in premier condition. As with anything else, if you take care of it, it will last. Concrete Countertops are no exception to the rule. Below is a copy of our warranty. This warranty is given to all new customers the day their countertops are installed. We go over the warranty with our customers before the purchase and after installation. We do have maintenance programs that we offer to our clients, if this is something you might be interested in please ask. Our warranty is extremely important to us, it is a service we are excited to offer, and is the result of years of dedication and hard work. Our warranty also ranks at the top of the concrete countertop industry in the United States; because of this our warranty should be just as important to you as it is to us..

Care and Maintenance:

All of Interior Concrete Design’s products leave our facility sealed and ready for use. We use a penetrating sealer followed by a topical wax to help keep food, oil, and other materials from staining the concrete’s surface. However it is recommended that you use cutting boards and hot plates when working on the concrete countertops. Cleaning up any spills that may occur during use is also sound practice. Lemon juice and other acidic juices will damage the sealer and eventually allow stains to occur on the countertops. Regular care consists of cleaning the concrete with a mild soap such as Shaklee Basic H or Simple Green. The only regular maintenence a concrete countertop requires is waxing. Wax will have to be reapplied to the concrete every two to three months depending on use, a ten minute process.

Warranty:

Interior Concrete Design will give technical advice and assistance for the duration of our products. Our products are designed for a lifetime of enjoyment and provide a surface that will withstand normal kitchen and household usage. Interior Concrete Design has a two year limited structural warranty. We will repair or replace the product if it fails to maintain functional structural integrity for the intended purpose. Imperfections are part of the appeal of the countertop; hairline cracks (anything 1/8 of an inch or less), slight irregularities in color, and texture are part of the normal wear and tear and natural aging process and will not affect the structural integrity of the countertop. However, we are not responsible for damage to our products due to gross negligence, abnormal wear and tear, the failure of supporting members (e.g. cabinets, walls, floors), or acts of nature.

Interior Concrete Design guarantees its work to be of the highest standard in the concrete countertop industry and offers this warranty and its services in a good faith manner and reserves the sole right to approve a warranty claim based on the above criteria. By signing this warranty you acknowledge the above warranty and you enact Interior Concrete Designs services for the duration of your products warranty period.
